WLBC Set for Golden Weekend
The World Lacrosse Box Championships has stolen the attention of the lacrosse world this week, with hundreds of athletes competing for the world championship in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
Team USA made history with their victory over the Haudenosaunee in their first game of the tournament, then f0llowed that up with a strong effort against the Canadians.
Meanwhile the Haudenosaunee rebounded from a rough first half against the Canadians and fell just short of an epic comeback to win the game. They will play the Americans tonight at 7 PM EST on ESPN+ and TSN+.
Broadcaster Mitch Belisle has been there for all of the big games, and broke down the most important themes from throughout the tournament on the most recent episode of The Back of the Bird.
