Below is a spreadsheet created by Evan Schemenauer which gives you the tools to track the playoff possibilities throughout the weekend.
Here’s how it works. The left side of the sheet shows all the possible scenarios. For every relevent game, there are corresponding scenarios for the wins and losses. The team that is highlighted is the winner.
Then scroll to the right to see the resulting seed scenarios. Basically the left is the “if” side and the right is the “then what” side. There are 256 different possibilities of wins and losses. In the very top right of the spreadsheet, there is a table which explains the percentage chances of each team to make the playoffs. and at which seed.
