This week on the OTCB Podcast, we welcome the newest member of the Vancouver Warriors, Christian Del Bianco.
In what seemed like a deadline day miracle, the 2023 NLL MVP and Goalie of the Year Del Bianco is back in the NLL after holding-out from the Calgary Roughnecks. It’s a major get for the future of the Warriors and will give them a solidified #1 goalie for the next decade.
The move reunites Del Bianco with his former coach and fellow 2019 NLL Champion Curt Malawsky. After being drafted by Calgary, this will be the first organization that Del Bianco has played for other than the Roughnecks.
That wasn’t the only move either, as Buffalo added some vets, San Diego solidified their defence, while Vancouver replenished their draft stocks. That’s in addition to the moves Toronto made last week, all culminating in one of the most significant NLL trade deadlines of all time!
