This week on the OTCB Podcast we welcome the voice of the Saskatchewan Rush, Cody Janzen to show.
Cody Janzen is collecting all the air miles, and bus miles as he travels to and fro with the team. This past weekend was one for the memory bank having to take a 7 hour bus ride from Calgary to Saskatoon; but it didn’t slow the team down at all.
Saskatchewan are 8-2 and now, the hottest team in the NLL winning their last 4 games heading into a crucial matchup with Vancouver on Friday. We discussed a variety of topics with him, including the play of Matt Hossack and the incredible turn around we have seen from the Rush this season. Nobody is as dialled into the Rush as Cody!

At 9-2, the Rush lead the NLL in wins and are second in win percentage. That means they have already passed their 2024 win total at barely the halfway mark. That 8-10 record last season was the exact same as the previous two years. The Rusb have a good chance to beat their 2019 record of 11-7, and a chance to go even higher than that.
In other words, life is good on the prairies.
