On today’s episode of The College Lacrosse Show, Jon and Dan sit down with Syracuse midfielder Sam English to discuss their hot start to the season, their upcoming game against Maryland and what it’s like playing in college at the same time as your brothers!
Sam and his Syracuse teammates are out to a great start with wins over Jackonsville, Vermont, and Towson. But they have a step up in competition this week as they head down to College Park to take on the Maryland Terrapins.
We chatted with Sam about the offensive start for the Orange, along with a bunch of other topics like the flatscreen tv on the sideline, the musical choices before the game, and the challenge of playing a John Tillman team.
We also discussed UNC’s excellent win in week one, Hopkins continued streak of strong play and the proliferation of zone defences.
