In a battle of two of the best players in the B1G, Ross Scott and Ajax Zappitello went at it several times in Maryland’s 11-6 victory over the Scarlet Knights last spring. Notice how many picks that Rutgers tried to set for Scott, to no avail.
Scott did find the scoresheet though, scoring a nice goal in the third quarter. Both players went onto big summers in the PLL as well, Zappitello with the Maryland Whipsnakes and Scott with the Carolina Chaos.
This will be a great battle to watch for years to come!
