Are you a box lacrosse fan, and wondering how to watch the games across Canada this summer? Welcome to the complete list of box lacrosse streaming services.
Box lacrosse streaming has come a long way within the last few years. While previously there was not much video available, now most leagues across the country are live-streaming games in some capacity.
Not all of these streams are free, but the paid versions will be noted in this article. Let’s get right into it.
Ontario
OJLL
The OJLL has been somewhat of a trailblazer for live streaming, featuring all of the games for free on the OJLL Youtube page. While not all of the games are streamed, the league has streamed several playoff games, and will continue to do so throughout the rest of the playoffs.
The next upcoming game will be Wednesday July 23 and will feature game 2 between the Orangeville Northmen and St. Catharines Athletics. The link for that game is below.
MSL
The MSL has been broadcasting their games this season on local cable television. Fans in most Ontario markets should check their local listings. Fans can consult this list as well to find where to watch their favourite teams.
For tape delayed games, the league is posting most of their games in their full version on Youtube. The most recent broadcast is from the last regular season game between the Peterborough Lakers and Six Nations Chiefs.
Several Youtube channels are also posting the full broadcasts. Here is the full game between the Peterborough Lakers and Owen Sound North Stars.
OJBLL
The Junior B Ontario playoffs have been streamed by a few different entities throughout the playoffs. The Youtube account Baby Blue Memories has streamed Kahnawake Hunters games throughout the playoffs, including this period between Kahnawake and Orangeville.
The Hunters and Northmen are set to battle Friday July 26 and Saturday July 27 in games three and four of their best of seven series.
Minor Lacrosse
The OLA started streaming the A Qualifiers this year. For those unaware, the aptly named qualifiers is a tournament to determine the final six Ontario lacrosse teams in a given year. The “Final Six” is a separate tournament of the final six teams to determine the Ontario champion.
The U17 (formerly called midget) games can be found here.
The U15 (formerly called Bantam) games can be found here.
And the U13 (formerly called Peewee) games can be found here.
BC
BCJALL
The Coquitlam Adanacs have been streaming their games through their own website. Fans must buy access to their games, but they are available at the link above. Game four of their series with the Burnaby Lakers goes tonight.
They also produced a documentary series called Road to the Minto Cup. Check out episode 1 if you missed it!
The series between the Port-Coquitlam Saints and Nanaimo Timbermen ended Tuesday night in a sweep. That stream can be found below.
WLA
The WLA operates on a pay per view model. The full list of upcoming streams can be found at this link. The game between Victoria and Langley will be streamed tonight.
