In a massive elimination game for the St. Catharines Athletics, trade deadline acquisition Thunder Hill scored five times, nearly outscoring the Burlington Blaze by himself.

Hill came over from the Six Nations Arrows at the trade deadline, and has excelled in his short career for the Athletics. In the four games during this series, he had 9 goals and 5 assists. That may not sound like a lot, but this was easily the lowest scoring series of the OJLL playoffs.

St. Catharines won the series in four games but reached the 10-goal mark just once. Burlington never scored more than eight goals in a single game.
