Welcome to Lacrosse Culture Daily. We are so excited to have you.
LC Daily is a lacrosse media brand focused on enhancing lacrosse coverage. We are built by people who know and love the game, and want to see it grow. If you are reading this, there is a good chance that you too believe in those goals.
This brand is more than a website, it is a platform for the community. As our name suggests, we aim to represent the sport, the people in it, and the culture that it has created. In our inaugural logo, we chose to represent the three prominent types of lacrosse sticks: men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, and traditional wooden sticks. This is symbolic of our desire to appeal to all corners of the lacrosse world.

In chasing that goal, LC Daily aims to profile lacrosse at all levels and in all formats. Readers should expect regular content on professional lacrosse, NCAA lacrosse (men’s and women’s), Canadian summer box lacrosse and much more.
Representing the culture means that the brand is much bigger than one person. This site is an ecosystem for connecting the various communities of the lacrosse world. Readers should understand that the opinions of writers and podcasters will never represent the opinions of the site itself, or any of its staff members. The goal of this site is to connect, to inform, to educate, and to entertain.
We hope to accomplish this through multiple mediums. Our website will feature a rotating cast of writers, and will include original articles focusing on analysis, statistics, and film breakdowns. Readers can also sign up for the LC Daily newsletter, which will be released every Monday. We have already been working on some great content as you can see throughout the website.
Meanwhile, we have built and aim to keep building a stable of lacrosse podcasts that centralizes the most engaging voices in the lacrosse world. Readers can access all of these podcasts through the website, along with our social media and Youtube channels.
Our plans include much more than just the content. One of our long-term goals for the brand is to help current and former players grow their personal brands and earn additional revenue. We have plans to achieve this in multiple ways, from instructional videos, to player merchandise, to player-driven content. Stay tuned for updates on how that process will evolve.
Not sure where to start? Check out Jon Donville’s series covering Canadian players in the NCAA. Or Evan Schemenauer’s column called Random Thoughts. Or Dan May’s series on grinders in the NLL. Or check out one of our podcasts like The Back of the Bird, Coaches Calls with Brad Challoner, or Off The Crosse Bar with Teddy Jenner and Pat Gregoire.
Like the sport itself, we at LC Daily hope that the site will continue to grow, to evolve, and to diversify. Today’s launch is the beginning of the journey, not the end.
We hope you will follow along with us, and we hope to make this sport proud.
Sincerely,
The staff of Lacrosse Culture Daily.
