O’Neill Goes First
It’s been a crazy few weeks in the NLL, and that continued with the 2024 Entry Draft on Sunday night. The Philadelphia Wings made the first overall selection, picking Brennan O’Neill from Duke University.
O’Neill is the first American to go first overall since 1998, and the fourth player to be selected with the first overall pick in both the professional box league and field league.
Sam English and Michael Grace rounded out the top three.
