The PLL announced their 2025 schedule on Wednesday, adding Chicago to the tour for the first time since the inaugural season.

Chicago replaces Minnesota for the 2025 season, while the other nine locations remain unchanged. The eight franchises will all play in their home markets in addition to Fairfield, Connecticut, where all eight teams will play.

The full schedule is available here.

The league has played in Chicago before. During the third week of the inaugural season, three games were held at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. This year’s location will be the Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium, home of the Northwestern University lacrosse team. The playing field is mere steps from the shores of Lake Michigan.

The stadium was recently temporarily renovated for use by the Northwestern football team while their stadium was undergoing renovations. As such, the capacity is significantly larger than it had been historically.

The announcement officially confirms a second year of the PLL hybrid tour/city model. Each franchise will play a double header on their home weekend, and will receive a bye during one of the other eight stops.

Each team will also play their conference foes twice. The Eastern Conference is comprised of Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore. The Western Conference includes California, Carolina, Denver and Utah.

Another notable change is that the schedule begins and ends earlier than past seasons. The league will play games in May, with Memorial Day falling very early this year. Then the last regular season weekend is August 8-9 in Boston.

According to the league website, the quarterfinals are set for August 22-24, the semifinals for August 29-31, and the finals for September 14th. The locations for those weekends were not disclosed.
