On the most recent episode of the Back of the Bird, recent NLL champion Paul Dawson discussed his third NLL title with the Buffalo Bandits, and how he re-connected with goaltender Matt Vinc.
Paul has won all three of his titles with Vinc. After winning the 2013 and 2014 championships with the Rochester Knighthawks, Dawson and Vinc both eventually switched organizations. When Dawson got traded back to Buffalo, he and Vinc immediately found old chemistry.
“We’re still on the same page after all these years,” said Dawson. “We’re just going to do the same thing that we did ten years ago and see if it works again… and it did.”
Ten years after their second title in Rochester, it indeed worked again.
